Your Chance to Ask President Obama About Legalizing Marijuana

Thursday around 11:30 am President Barack Obama will be holding an online townhall meeting answering the questions that you submit and vote on. Tens of thousands of people have submitted questions and placed their votes.  The submissions and votes end at 9:30 am ET so there is not much time left.

Here’s the kicker,  if you visit the site and look under the topics Health Care Reform, Green Jobs and Energy, Financial Stability, Jobs and Budget you will notice they all have something in common… Making marijuana legal is one of the most voted on questions.  In fact drug reform (legal marijuana) is the number one question for 4 of the 11 topics.  In some cases the question takes the top three spots.  Before time is up, submit your votes and see how our President feels about our issues.

  2. they need to go ahead and let this weed be legal cause we always gotta hide to smoke in public places. im tired of hiding my everyday thang.its time 4 a change

  3. yes..i agree why is it illegal it is no worse than beer. well actually beer is worse. i mean the people who dont like it. well let them be the one who doesnt do it its. that just like people that dont think alcohol shouldnt be legal, but it is aint it? so let the people who want to smoke weed, smoke. plus the goverment would make a fortune.

  4. the legalization of pot would do wonders for the country and the world as a whole. legalizing pot would first pull the country out of a recession by creating jobs. which should be are main priority, and then the state and gov could tax the hell out of it like they do beer and cigarettes with their sin tax and they would make billions of dollars which i know sounds good to the goverment. i could go on for days on the subject but the bottu

  5. the main point is if nobody in a position of power has the guts to stand up for the legalization of pot somebody needs to make a change its a win win win situation that every polititon is scared to admit for the risk of their reputation. i no longer smoke but i at least can see the obvious major benifits of legalization
