You never know where you may be…
Life isn’t all candy canes and gum drops. A lot of life seems to be about suffering, and understanding that everything isn’t always going to be great. It’s hard for me to understand this because my life has been so great. I grew up in a small town, with a upper class family. I never worried about how I was going to pay for my next meal, or if I would have new clothes on the first day of school. Life was practically handed to me in a wicker basket filled with fruit and chocolate, with my task to unwrap it.
I hope I have not taken advantage of this, and I will find out soon enough, in December, when I graduate. This post may seem out of context for my usual post, but you can thank Hulu.com. As random as it may sound, I was bored on day and a guy had told me a few days earlier I would love this movie called, “Johnny Apple Weed.” About a guy who plants pot all over the world. I really had no interest in it, it seemed rather cliche, and stupid pot humor. But I did go to the website, and instead of checking Johnny Appleweed out, I went to the “top watched” shows. A show called 6 degrees caught my attention, and I watched the pilot. Well, I’m on my last of 13 episodes, and I watched the first on 2 days ago. I think you should give it a chance, you never know where it may lead you.
